Fun Whist
Starts at 7.15pm on the 2nd Saturday in the month in the Old Hall
Ours is a friendly Club where new members are made very welcome, even if they have never played before. Existing members will be only too happy to help you to get started until you pick up the basics of the game. As we have around 20 players attending each Whist Drive, you can either come along on your own or, if you prefer, bring some friends with you.
Why not come along one Saturday and give it a try, we are sure you will enjoy it so much you will keep coming back! If you require any further information just give us a call. The cost is £4 per player, which includes a cup of tea or coffee, a rafle prize and a prize for the winning lady and man.
Don’t be shy! Come along to a session and try it out (if you are a novice to Whist), or, if you are already a player, just come and play a pleasant, relaxed game in a friendly atmosphere.
Please join us for our next session, you would be most welcome. At £4, which includes a cup of tea and biscuit at the interval as well as a free raffle and two winning prizes, what could be a nicer way to spend an evening!

We hold fun regular “themed nights” and “cake night” with guest DJ.

Cheerleaders
Here at Wickford Warriors, we offer a dynamic cheerleading program for athletes aged 3–16. Beyond teaching the fundamentals of cheer, our primary focus is on holistic child development. We are dedicated to enhancing participants’ physical skills (flexibility and coordination) while crucially building self-assurance and cultivating an inclusive, supportive ‘cheer family’ that promotes teamwork and belonging.
No experience is required
If you would like to sign your child up, please contact myself Roxy at wickfordwarriorscheerleaders@outlook.com
Gentle Yoga Class
Come and enjoy a Restorative Hatha Yoga class. This is a very gentle practice with some asana/ poses mainly for mobility, with a little flexibility and strength. This practice is more about taking a mindful moment, using pranayama (breathing practices) to stay present and meditation to calm the mind and relax the body. Chairs available for those who don’t wish to get on to the mat. This is a great class for beginners or those that need a little more care. Tuesdays 10 – 11.15am
