The Hall is located at the centre of the village opposite the shop. The property has two large halls, a meeting room, kitchen, gardens, patio and car parking.
New Hall
The hall has a sports floor and is marked out for badminton. Badminton nets are available for use. There is a door into the kitchen and a service hatch. The hall opens out onto the lawn area. The hall can accommodate 100 people. There are wall mounted disco lights located around the hall which can be hired for parties etc.
Old Hall
The hall is ideal for parties and dancing. It can accommodate 100 people. Entry is via double doors. It has its own ladies and gents toilets with baby changing facilities. The side doors open out onto the car park at one side and to a patio area on the other. There is access to the kitchen and a serving hatch. This hall also joins directly with the meetings room.
New Hall Entrance Lobby
The lobby is accessed via double doors. The Ladies and Gents toilets and a disabled toilet are accessed from the lobby. There is a digital display which can be hired to display those special messages for your event. A defibrillator is located at the entrance.
Kitchen
The kitchen is capable of supporting separate events in both halls. There are sinks, instant hot water urns, an industrial dishwasher and an oven with an induction hob. A variety of crockery is available from the cupboards.
Meeting Room
This room measures 6.3 by 4.2m. It is accessed from the new hall lobby, the old hall and the kitchen. It has tv which can be used as a display, with an HDMI connection. The room is currently used for parish council meetings and for small group exercised e.g. yoga. There is a cleaners cupboard which contains dustpan and brush etc.
Car Parking
There are three blue badge parking spaces. Parking is available at the front and side of the hall for around 15 cars. There is a further overflow car park at the rear which provides 12 spaces. The entire car park is lit by security lighting with motion sensors.
Patio
The old hall opens onto a paved patio area, which can be hired as an add-on to a hiring of the old hall
Lawn
The new hall opens onto a grassy area that can be hired as an add-on to a hire of the new hall.
Store Room
This is used to store tables and chairs. There are 17 large tables and 13 small tables. There are 20 chairs stored in the new hall and a further 40 near to the old hall. A further 23 large tables are stored in the outside sheds along with 20 additional chairs. An industrial hoover is also available for use if required.
